This website was produced as an updated and interactive version of the eBook “Illustrative Cases in Medical Mycology” by Cara Holmes et al (2016). The original eBook was produced as a collaboration by a University of Manchester student during her placement at the Mycology Reference Centre Manchester.

This website will eventually incorporate all of the cases from the eBook, but also many new cases covering conditions that are particularly relevant to the NHS.

Manchester is a hub for Aspergillus as it brings together NHS clinicians (NAC), a mycology reference laboratory (MRCM) and university researchers (MFIG).
